These are entities through which US tax residents can invest their retirement savings in IRA accounts into foreign real estate whereby any earnings upon property sale go back into the LLC account and are tax free in the US.

As RBI regulations do not permit IRAs outside the country to invest in Indian real estate, such investment is not an option. You could explore the option of taking a loan out of your IRA account and purchasing under your personal name as this would comply with RBI rules.
